An exclusive SAFe Course for government agencies
SAFe principles have been benefitting private sectors for quite some time now, lately, government agencies have also started realizing that they can build the systems to serve the people more efficiently by the adoption of Lean-Agile principles. But, adoption of Lean-Agile best practices has a different set of challenges altogether in the context of the public sector. There are many complex issues in government programs like, legacy governance, organizational barrier, multi-vendor environments, etc. which make the transition challenging. SAFe 4.6 version has special consideration for the government in the “SAFe for Government training” program. This training program is focused on how to lay a foundation of Lean-Agile values, principles, and practices adopted in government programs. In SAFe 4.6, a new area of guidance is focused on the public sector and how to strengthen the process and technical capabilities to deliver systems or software to deliver the government program. It requires a transition to follow Lean-Agile practices within and across teams in government agencies to build technology-based platforms and systems.
In this two-day training program, attendees will learn:

Learning a new way of thinking about project management. I really liked day 2 when we were able to apply learning.
Student guide is easy to understand. Instructor was very knowledgeable and was able to provide simple understandable case scenarios to assist me with understanding / learning process.
I liked the format and how the instructor was able to set the pace based on our group. WSJF exercise was helpful.
I liked the content of the SAFe course, terminologies and the way it was presented. The case study helped in understanding the whole picture of SAFe. Would have preferred more examples on some of the concepts and some more detailed case study.
I liked that the instructor. Plenty of detailed examples to support key concepts. He also encouraged questions and discussions which helped reinforce learning.
I liked the hands-on portions of the training.(Games and case study). Add more hands-on portions and slides, although information can be monotonous
Gourab was well informed and kept the focus on getting us to what we want. A comprehensive understanding rather than teaching to the test.
Very interactive, instructor open to discussion of new ideas and adaption to our needs. Up-front investment of instructor (before class) in specific needs of company would have been helpful.
